Analytical Exposition Text “ Reading Habit”

The reading habit among Indonesian students is still low. There are many reasons for this fact. However it is mainly caused by the high prices of goos books, scarity of good books abd ither activities young people prefer to do. 

Firstly, books are relatively expensive in Indonesia. Publisher claim that the prices of material and production cost of books are high and keep increasing. Therefore books are sold expensicely and consequently most student cannot afford them. 
Secondly, if we browse the bookselves at bookstores it is not easy to find real high quality books. Some books with good topics may have plain and boring designs, while there are also books which look good but the contents are almost not worth reading. 

Thirdly and quite unfortunately nowadays there are many kinds of activities other than reading, and the young people prefer doing them. These include watching youth soap operas on TV, listening to music and songs with meaningless lyrics or just hanging out shopping malls. Such activities clearly do not offer as much learning as the book reading habit does.and clearly they forget the saying a book is a window of the world. 

In conlusion it is clear that the reading habit among Indonesian students is still low for the reasons above. If we expect changes from this situation everybody must take part. Students must be willing to st their preference to usefull activity such as reading books.

Analytical Exposition Text : Integrated Pest Management

There is no best way to deal with pests in agriculture. Pesticides are commonlu used, but this may cause many problems. Combining different management operations is the most effective wa to control pests. 

Firstly the chemicals in pesticides may build up residues in the environment. This reduces the quality of farms products. 
As well pests can become resistant to pesticides gradually. This means that newer and stronger ones have to be developed. 

Some pesticides affect non targets animals such fish and bees. This affects the bnatural balance. 

To wipe outagriculturla pests completely may be very expensive. Sometime pest damage cost less than the method of control. 

Finally understanding the ecology of the area helps a lot in pest control. Natural enemies can be used to control a pest. Pesticides that do not affect the natural enemies should be chosen. 

Therefore integrated pest management is a safe and more effective option in agriculture.

Computer and internet are useful as well as powerful. Information about health and safe usage of computer and Internet, especially for children, should be owned by each family. Computer connected to internet is powerful way to socialize with others. It can be good but also bad effect. Recently we hear a lot of children get the advantage of social networking sites but we often see the news about the disadvantage of it for children. Healthy and safety of computer and Internet usage should continue to be campaigned. The role of parent in assisting and directing children in using computer is very necessary. Installation of software monitor such as key logger which has function to watch and note all activities relating to keyboard usage is helpful but not enough to protect children from potential harms. Children tend to hide what they have done in front of the computer to their parent. They see that all of they have done are their privacy and no one may know.We can not prevent children from using computer because it is multifunctional. However, many parents worry about what their kids do in front of the computer; whether they are doing homework or even just playing games. Or spending all time to surf internet which is the materials do not fit with his age. There is a tendency, especially teenagers, want to become acquainted with many strangers out side. The lack parental supervision of children's activities is likely to pose a potential danger to them. So parental monitor against the use of computers needs to be done from time to time.

Do you agree that music is important in our life? Yes I do, music has certain role completing our day to day activities. Here are some reasons why music is heard everywhere and anywhere. 
Music is a way to express feelings. When we fall in love, the kind of music we’d listen to would be all about love. When we’re sad, we would go for music that is melancholic in nature and immerse ourselves in the sadness. When we’re happy, we’d choose songs with happy tunes too.
Song can help to memorize the last experiences. A favorite song is a powerful documentary. People with Alzheimer which are impaired the brain would remember details about songs they were familiar with. For example, an elderly woman who couldn’t even remember her husband’s name would remember the details of her favorite song; when it was played, how it made her feel and things about the song that made it especially memorable for her.Further, music can unite people for a cause and changes the world. A song with good lyric and striking deep chord can stimulate the universal feeling of all people. We can see it in the case of the famous and legendary Michael Jacson's Heal the World. It can arouse humanism of a lot people in this world.
So what would the world be like without music? It would be lonely.

To  improve comfort and cleanliness at our school a number of dustbins should be increased. When we look at classrooms, school corridors and school yard, there are papers, mineral water cups, straws and napkins here and there. The condition of uncleanliness and discomfort really hinders learning and teaching environment. Litters thrown carelessly cause disease, especially empty plastic cup or glasses. They can be filled out with water coming from the rain. This can be places for dengue mosquitoes to spread out. Besides, this rubbish can deteriorate the scene. Well-painted wall and green school yard do not meant anything if litters are scattered everywhere.
I notice that most of the students in our school have responsibilities for their school environment. They put their litters on the proper places. But some are not diligent enough to find the dustbins. The number of dustbins in our school is not enough. Most dustbins should be put besides each of steps, outside the classrooms and some more along the corridors. Probably one dustbin should be in every ten meters. When students want to throw away their litters they can find the dustbins easily.
When school is equipped with sufficient dustbins, we do not have problem of filth and discomfort anymore. Our school will be very clean and a nice place to study.

Analytical Exposition Text : Reading for Pleasure

Reading English for pleasure is not the same as studying English . You do not have to remember everything, as there is no test on books you read for pleasure, it is more interesting because you can choose your own book. Beside the Enjoyment you get, reading for pleasure contributes a lot in learning English. It will help you to read faster, find examples of good writing, learn new words, learn how speaker of English use the language and learn about the cultures of different people in the world.
The first step to read English for pleasure is to find a good book one that is interesting and that is not too difficult to read. You can go to the library and ask the librarian for books that  may interest you. Also you can browse around in a bookstore and ask the clerk to help you find a good book. Surely you can borrow books from friends , but makes sure you return to them.
If you plan to check out books from a library, following are some tips to help you select books and find them more easily. Firstly, read the front and back covers of the books and find out whether you think it is interesting or not. Secondly, check the number of pages of the book. If you happen to be a beginner, it is better to begin with  a short book. Then if you like a book read one or two pages. Find out if you can understand it. Finally, which is the most important thing the books should be interesting to you.
